"When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves."
-Viktor Frankl
As a licensed mental health counselor, I am passionate about creating a warm, supportive space where clients feel truly heard and empowered. I specialize in helping individuals navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and life transitions.
My approach combines evidence-based therapies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Attachment-Based Therapy, allowing me to tailor my work to meet the unique needs of each client.I believe in the inherent strength that resides within each person and aim to help clients uncover and embrace these strengths. I often remind my clients that "The greatest transformations begin when we tap into our inner resources and choose to move forward with intention and purpose." This belief drives my work, helping clients realize their resilience and capacity for growth.
As Viktor Frankl, the founder of logotherapy, wisely said, "When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves." His work continues to inspire my practice, particularly his emphasis on finding meaning and purpose in all aspects of life, no matter the circumstances.
I earned my MA in Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University, graduating in 2013, which has equipped me with a strong foundation in both the clinical and spiritual aspects of therapy.Through virtual counseling, I offer flexible access to therapy, ensuring clients can engage in the process from the comfort of their own space.
Together, we work toward building the tools and confidence necessary to create a fulfilling and meaningful life.
